About Us
CU AutoNet was established in 1998 as an Internet channel for credit unions to sell off-lease vehicles to members. Since it's inception, CU AutoNet has remained committed to bringing credit unions a simple and cost-effective system for streamlining automotive lending processes.
We first partnered with N.A.D.A. in 1999 to provide convenient access to researching vehicle industry and trade information, and have since expanded this service to include the dealership-trusted company, Black Book, including online access. Our partnership with TitleAuctions began in 2004, as we began to offer an online service to credit unions for the resale of repossed vehicles, with the potential of securing a better price.
The year 2007 represents a new era for CU AutoNet. Our recent partnership with GE creates a national presence for dealer-auction sales. The volume of vehicles they sell at auctions each year provides them with deep discounts on many auction services. This partnership only touches the surface of what we plan to do. Certifications are on the horizon, the potential for a repossession partnership is in the works, and many other portions of our remarketing efforts are being planned.
