Guy M. Hood
Guy Hood, President/CEO of FCUL, provides oversight and input from a perspective that takes in more than simply the legislative and political arena. He has more than 35 years experience with credit unions and has been the President of the Florida Credit Union League for nearly 20 years. He served on numerous committees of CUNA and AACUL and chaired several efforts.
Marvin M. Garland
Marvin Garland has been with the FCUL Service Group and the Florida Credit Union League since 1997. He serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the FCUL Service Group and Chief Financial Officer for all FCUL affiliated organizations. His responsibilities with the FCUL Service Group include overseeing the research, development and implementation of new products as well as operational duties on existing products. He has been instrumental in increasing the product line offered by the Service Group and has proven to be a strong supporter of enhancing the competitive power of credit unions both in Florida and nationally.
Aletta Shutes
Aletta Shutes, Executive Vice President of FCUL, has served the League since 1993. She lobbied for several agencies during her 33 years working for the State of Florida. She was appointed Secretary of Administration by then Governor Bob Martinez in 1989 and served until 1991. She is the leader of the FCUL lobbying efforts and is responsible for growing CUPAC from $23,000 to more than $500,000 annually.
